Rachel McLelland, LMSW
Rachel is a Licensed Master’s Social Worker who works with children (about 9 and up), adolescents, and young adults to address behavioral issues, stress, depression, anxiety, and personality disorders. She provides a safe and accepting environment for full expressions of emotion that lead to growth.
She received her B.A. in Psychology with a specialty in human development and family science from Miami University (2016) and earned her master's degree in Social Work from Aurora University (2022). She is passionate about helping her clients learn more about themselves and providing them with practical tools. Rachel primarily utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy to help her clients accomplish their goals.
Rachel creates strong relationships with her clients that are built on trust and compassion that come from a place of empathy, honesty, and humor. She strives to help her clients gain better control of (and work through) their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. All in a way that is appropriate for their lifestyle.
When not working with her clients, Rachel likes to travel, be in nature, spend time with loved ones, watch a favorite television show, and read. Rachel sees clients in the Roswell and Buckhead offices, and via telehealth. She is supervised by Catherine Moon, LCSW.
