Nong Cavender, APC
Nong is an Associate Professional Counselor (APC) who creates a safe and non-judgmental environment where she empowers individuals to gain insight into themselves and create lasting change. She strives to help her clients be the best versions of themselves by improving their overall mental health and wellness. Nong utilizes a person-centered, collaborative, and strength-based approach consisting of cognitive therapy, solution-focused therapy, and motivational interviewing techniques.
Nong received her bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Florida State University and earned a Master of Arts degree in Counseling, Psychology, and Counselor Education from the University of Colorado at Denver. She sees adult individuals in the Roswell office and via telehealth where she helps them cope with a variety of issues including depression, generalized anxiety, social anxiety, relationship issues, grief, career issues, cultural issues, and more. Nong is supervised by Celia Webb, LPC, CPCS.
In her leisure time, Nong enjoys photography, running, playing tennis, reading, traveling, and soaking up quality time with her family.
