Jacqueline Conway, LPC, REAT
Jacqueline received her master’s degree in Clinical Counseling Psychology with an Expressive Arts Therapy specialization from Ottawa University in 2019 and was trained in EMDR through the Institute of Creative Mindfulness in 2021. Previously, she earned a BA with a double major in Art and Psychology from the University of Massachusetts.
Jacqueline specializes in the treatment of trauma and anxiety disorders through a person-centered, humanistic lens in order to offer adolescents and adults a safe place to continue along their transformative life journey. She utilizes approaches supported by empirical therapeutic evidence including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT). Jacqueline also introduces psychosomatic and evidence-based modalities from her expressive arts therapy background into her client interactions.
Jacqueline’s passion for helping others to find refuge and make meaning of their experiences brought her to a career in counseling. She encourages her clients to rediscover their inner strength while teaching them coping mechanisms and self-soothing techniques. She looks to help her clients improve their communication skills, learn to engage in empathetic introspection, and renew their curiosity about the world around them.
Jacqueline joined Restorative Counseling Services in 2021 and sees clients via telehealth. Outside of her client work, Jacqueline enjoys traveling to new countries, hiking the national parks with her dog Koda, and teaching restorative yoga.
