Brittany Ward, APC, CTP

As an Associate Professional Counselor and Certified Trauma Professional, Brittany is known for her creativity, honesty, grace, and humor. She loves helping people create thriving relationships with themselves and others. Her approach to therapy is relatable, digestible, and empowering. Brittany specializes in working with individuals and couples ages 18 and older who are struggling with issues related to anxiety, depression, self-esteem, codependency, perfectionism, spiritual concerns, relational discord, parenting, grief, and the effects of trauma.

Brittany is dedicated to creating a space for people to be who they are without shame. This is a space to be messy, honest, vulnerable, and real. To celebrate wins, dream about the future, and work through hard things with compassion, grit, and forgiveness. This is a space for you to be fully imperfect and fully human. Brittany is committed to helping you rediscover who you are, what you like, and what really matters to you. With gentleness and depth, she will help you navigate difficult relationships and emotions so that you can build the kind of life and connections you have always dreamed of.

Brittany received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Arizona State University and earned a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University. In her practice, she uses interventions and techniques based upon her training in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Relational Life Therapy (RLT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). She is deeply interested in the science of the brain and loves teaching her clients how to work with big emotions, know their self-worth, set healthy boundaries, communicate effectively, and make choices that align with their values.

As a wife, mother, therapist, and messy human, Brittany is passionate about finding beauty in the ordinary and hope in the dark. She is wildly creative and is fascinated by the people and things that inspire beauty, hope, optimism, and joy. Outside of work, you can find her creating things of beauty whether it is in her kitchen, on paper, or on canvas to share with the people she loves.

Brittany sees clients online and in person in the Roswell office and is supervised by Celia Webb, LPC, CPCS.
