Julia Clark, LMSW

Julia is a Licensed Master Social Worker who is passionate about walking alongside adolescents, young adults, college students, and adults navigating challenges related to anxiety, emotional regulation, effects of trauma, life transitions, and relationship concerns. She also has expertise in supporting women in the pre- and postpartum period. Julia is dedicated to creating a collaborative therapeutic relationship in which clients feel comfortable to be their most true selves, explore their values and strengths, and connect with their inherent worth.

Julia received her B.S. in Applied Psychology with a minor in Child & Adolescent Mental Health Studies from New York University. She went on to earn her master’s degree in Social Work from the University of North Carolina - Chapel Hill. She uses a trauma-informed, relational approach to therapy that combines a thoughtful blend of Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and mindfulness practices to help clients connect with the present moment.

Julia brings a warm, grounding, and compassionate energy to therapy, offering a space that is nonjudgmental, safe, and connected. She loves supporting clients in better understanding their emotional worlds, developing practical tools for self-regulation, building secure relationships, and reconnecting with their sense of self. As a therapist, daughter, and friend, Julia is inspired by the strength her clients bring to their healing, and the beauty of honest, wholehearted connection.

Outside of the office, Julia loves to cook and bake, soak up time in nature, and spend time with family and friends. Julia sees clients in the Buckhead office and via Telehealth. She is supervised by Catherine Moon, LCSW.
